Bengt Sundberg founded Silverdalens Mekaniska verkstad in 1949. The company later changed its name to Lönneberga Mekaniska Verkstads AB (SMV), which manufactured the well-known SMV truck. The company is thus the background to Konecranes Lifttrucks AB.

AMLO Group in Linköping acquired Lönneberga Mekaniska Verkstad AB in 2022, and with the purchase the name was changed to lmvindustri AB.

Today we work with heavy welded constructions where machining is included. Examples of products are machine stands, products for the sawmill industry and the heavy vehicle industry (forklifts), and various forms of special stands for material handling – all according to customer specifications.
